MAP sensor values

Post by talonxracer »

I was rereading the manual for Kpro and I read that columns 1 and 2 in the tables are for decel.

During decel on my car, I have never seen the columns 1 nor 2 highlighted during datalogging, is this normal?

The motor is a stock bottom end K20A2, K2's, IMG, RBC, MaxBore, Mugen head gasket, ceramic SSR rh.

Occasionally I do get a P1129, MAP sensor reading higher than expected,(replaced MAP sensor 3 times with no help) anyone else see this problem?

Could having the MAP sensor located on the TB vrs mounted on the RBC's plenum cause this high reading? Could this cause the tip-in, decel problems?

Also,,, at idle, 980rpm's, I have approx 480mbar reading for the MAP. This seems kinda high to me. I thought at first it was a vaccum leak, but have not found any.

Yeah, I get around 30 kPa at idle. Columns 1 and 2 are only hit during fairly heavy deceleration in gear.
