Suggested feature: kPa/psi MAP display

Post by Razathorn »

I would be mighty thrilled if kmanager had the ability to make the MAP value display as kPa when in vacuum and psi over atmosphere, ie boost, when in boost. Perhaps make the min/max work a little more intelligent than "/psi does -- I mean I realize that 2 is 2 bar where one of the bars is for vacuum and the other is for 14.7 psi of boost, but that's kinda confusing.

In my humble opinion, kPa/psi, if added, should be the default display for map values and come with a display min of 0 and max of 14.7 psi boost or 100 kPa -- which ever seems more correct for the average user.

Sounds like a great addition. I have a Brockway Engineering Racer Data Display and it does the exact thing you are mentioning. I have just the LCD screen molded into my dash and I use it as my boost gauge along with water temp and IAT.
