Hondata flash Swappable

I know you'd be the smartest guy to ask for this.

If I purchased a used ECU w/ the Hondata Reflash for an 05-06RSX and had the dealer do their magic to make my keys work, could I at any time just swap my original ECU in there and have my car work?

it all depends on how the reprogram the keys and immobilizer.

On the early (02-04) vehicles it may work if the dealers uses the 'replace ecm' function, but on the 05-06 the vehicle stores the ECU ID, and they must match, so it will not work.
