Hi, I recently purchased your reflash, and I was wondering a few things...
1. Should a tuneable option for the FG2 ever become available, would you consider applying a discount for those that have already paid full price for the reflash? If answering this question you feel you would be answering too much, I understand. Please move on to questions 2 and 3.
2. If you do not come out with any tuneable option for the FG2 in the future, will your reflash work in conjunction with something like say, the XEDE from Vishnu. I am thinking of purchasing the Jackson (Moss) supercharger next year, and would use the XEDE piggyback unit that is included in their kit. I am not only specifying the XEDE, because I may not go this route, I might go Emanage with Greddy and their turbo, or maybe just aftermarket cams possibly from Skunk2.
3. If I couldn't use the reflash with a supercharger (not comptech, besides I hear they are closing shop) or turbo (i.e. Greddy) or cams (or i just wanted tuning) I would need to use a different company's product, and your's would then be obsolete for my purpose. In this event, is it physically possible to take another person's vehicle, and my own to a Honda dealership and somehow have them configure the immobilizer, key, and ecu so that I could sell him my reflash and not let it just go to waste.
Thank you.
Liam

1. In the past we have offered an reduced upgrade price. We may or may not in the future.
2. Electrically, yes, since it still is the same ECU. Tuning wise - it will depend on the tuning device.
3. Yes. This is common with the RSX & Civics. The only caveat is that the very early 06 Civic Si has a fault where the immobilizer cannot be updated without the dash being swapped.

With a new ECU, the dealer has to configure immobilizer, key, and ECU for the car to work? I was considering (now kind of wondering why) buying a 2nd ECU and getting the Hondata reflash done on this, while keeping my stock computer stock. In reliant's case, Honda can set up immobilizer, key, and ECU on a Hondata reflashed ECU without affecting the Hondata reflash?
