Hondata Rep: Information for my tuner

So my car is running in SAFE/LIMP mode due to a CEL code 3, MAP sensor error. This means it is running off the backup ECU fuel tables basically dumping fuel into the engine, and NOT using the programmable EPROM tables.

My tuner is 'checking' to see if the Hondata system bypasses LIMP mode in this case, which I know it does not since the Hondata is flashing red light meaning there is a problem, and the car is running extremely rich due to LIMP mode that does not have anything to do HOndata hooked up or not.

I just need an official Hondata confirmation that the S200 does NOT bypass LIMP mode or a critical CEL code such as MAP sensor that prevents the ECU from functioning normally. (I do understand the Hondata CAN be used to bypass Knock sensors, O2 and secondaries).

So a simple confirmation will help me out, when speaking with the tuner to know I have an official Hondata response to this so it doesn't cause me any more headache and trying to convince me that Hondata bypasses LIMP mode :( thank you!

Yes, failsafe / limp mode with the S200 is the same as stock.

OK, they agreed to a re-tune. Also, if there is any information about San Diego tuners, I would be interested.
