Hi,
I don't speak english very well, thus sorry for the text of this thread. I just got the Hondata reflash and the Injen Cold air intake for my 05'RSX-S. These mods are great. The car is totally transformed. The beast is waked-up. :D
I do not want to get Kpro so, as it is advised on this page http://www.hondata.com/reflash_05rsx.html I plan to get a catback exhaust. However I dont know what exhaust to choose. My criterion is : as hp as possible for the less noise (it could seems to be a bit amazing but I am looking for power and not noise... i want to avoid a high level of noise) .
Can you give me precise criteria to choose my exhaust or, better, a precise model (brand, reference,....)?
A last question: I know that Race Header are not recommended with reflash. So I do not plan to get it. However do you think that it exists simple header (not race header) which can be well appropriated both for a catback exhaust and the reflash (always in order to get more hp). Maybe the Comptech one?
Many thanks for your answer.

Sorry, but we do not have noise and power figures for every exhaust out there.
Any of the headers (non-race) are better than stock, and I would just recommend getting something made of stainless (not mild steel).
Some of the cat-back exhausts make less power that stock. Check that the last muffler has an inside diameter which is at least 60mm. All the cat-back exhausts make more noise than stock. Generally the more mufflers, and the longer the mufflers are, the quieter they will be.

Thanks very much for your answer. So no problem like those known for race header with simple headers. And the important thing is the diameter of the muffler.Hondata wrote:Sorry, but we do not have noise and power figures for every exhaust out there.

A last question: Approximately, how much hp could I hope with the add of header+catback? Something like 15hp? Less... more? (I think that companies are a bit optimistic about the gain offered by their products...)
Anyway, reflash is definitely a gret mod for the price.
