Which s300

i was thinking of getting a PR3 ECU to use a hondata s300 with. This is for my 97 UK B16A2. do i need the JDM s300j or just the normal s300 for this ECU? Looking at the website its s300 but just want to make sure its not a typo as its a jdm ECU.

There is an OBD0 and OBDI PR3 - you'd want the OBDI PR3, which is an US rectangular frame, and so would use the 'normal' s300. However, 99% of the PR3s out there are OBD0, which you cannot use. For identification they have green & white connectors, rather than grey (OBDI).

the proper code for the PR3 ECU you are looking for is PR3-J01.

Thanks for the help, Looks like i have managed to get a UK P30 so all is good.
