prb ecu

i have just bought a prb ecu for my uk spec civic type r and was told that i cannot code the keys with the immobiliser. I also bought a wideband sensor to match the ecu. The ecu has got an adapter harness fitted too.

Is there anyway to recode the keys? :(

The dealers in the UK may not be able to recode these for you. You will just have to unplug the immobilizer to kee the green light from flashing.

We don't know if the UK dealers will be able to match the ECU with immobilizer. You can try it and see.

If the ECU has an adapter harness, make sure it is not adapter for an 05-06 RSX, as the ECU would have been modified and will not work on the CTR.

the ecu does not have an adapter harness but has been modified to suit my k20a2 uk civic type r.
