set timing feature not working

Post by turbotypeR »

i am trying to set my base timing using the set timing feature and it doesn't seem to be working.no matter if i set it at 12 deg or 40 deg,the timing mark does not move.i am using the 1.1.9.0 version and wondered if it could be because the version has a bug or not.i wasn't wanting to change to the newer version because i heard the boost control feature had some issues and my boost control seams to be working fine .please help!

Can someone describe how this set timing feature works?

I've searched in the Help file but it doesn't have a description of how it works

Thanks

It is in the help file, under 'Commands->Set Ignition Timing', or you can search for 'Ignition Timing'.
