need help!
ok i have a p06 and i have a honda civic with a h22a in it now jdm ecu wanna put my s300 in it and i did but it comes up with v-tech spool? now where the s300 p06 is non vtech will it not work with a vtech engine?
It will work fine, but the will be nothing in the ECU (S300) to control your VTEC of your IAB. So it would be pointless to use your P06 S300 on that H22A. If you get the VTEC killer cams and remove the IAB then it would be great. Adding a turbo on top of that would make it stupid fast. But for now you should use the ECU that came with the motor, because it will control everything, you will have to make sure all the wiring is conected. But you can handle that. hope this helps

what do you mean about running a wire if i use one of the options on the vtech output on non vtech ecu's will i have to manuly trun it on or will it come on auto? and what one do i need to press invert output or invert iab output? I think i will go with the a17 one what do you think?
thanks,

anyone? i'll i need to know is how to hook what u said up i have no clue lol
I guess you can use a non-used output to control the VTEC. What ever output is free in the ECU and switch the Vtec to that output through SManger. Then wire it to that pin and it will become your new VTEC solenoid control. maybe the A/C control. but im not 100% sure because i have never explored or used this option.
Taken from the Help file:
VTEC Output
This is an additional output, switched at the same time as VTEC, for non-VTEC ECUs which do not have the VTEC output circuitry. Note that with some outputs a relay should be used to prevent the output transistor from overheating.
You should download the newest version of Smanager and take a look at the vtec parameters.
