INVERTED PURGE VALVE Car List

Can we get a list of cars and engines that need to have the purge valve inverted?

i.e 99-00 Honda Civic Si w/B16a2 does or doesn't

More tthan likely if the car is OBD2b then it needs to be inverted, but this is not something that is easy to look up.

Just try it, if you have problems, invert it.

What exactly would be different? What is the purge valve's main purpose?

IT purges the charcoal canister and releases the gasses into the engine to be burned. If it opens at the wrong times you will have strange issues of idle and stalling.
