Wideband on ELD input problem

Post by Gigi »

Hello

I Have a Hondata ECU already socketed for S300. I have a boumslang harness. My car is a itr B18C6. For the moment everything stock. I connected for the first time the s300 and everythings seemed to be ok. I can datalog and was able to read the stock narow O2 sensor. (sinusoidal signal)

Now I try to connect a wideband UEGO with a 0-5 output voltage. I connected to the ELD (cut on the boumslang wire on the D10 pin) changed the setting following the Wideband voltage table, disconnect the closed loop but I cannot read anything els than 4.53Volts... Connected and not connected always 4.53 volts. I tryed to connect on the EGRL (D12) but there it's now a fix 11,50 AFR that the s300 read..? Than I wanted to connect to the O2 sensor input (D14) but what a surprise.. no wire comes on the ECU on D14.... Is the harness the problem??

There is also a problem with the Knock voltage level, with my stock ECU OBD2 I have no error code... (no motor lamp lighting)

Thanks a lot for your help and greetings from Switzerland

Maybe your ECU doesn't have ELD input. Some ECUs dont have that.

If your harness doesn't have a wire in D14, you can remove the ELD wire and transfer to d14.

Is your ELD wire still connected to the ELD as well?

Hi
I have same kind of "ELD" problem.
My car is EDM Honda Civic Vti B16A2 1999 OBD2B.
Im using P28 ecu with built in obd2b plugs and s300.

I tried to wire plx wideband into the eld wire but then i noticed that i dont have eld at all.
Then i tried to find that C6 wire ( on the edm obd2b harness) so i could
wire the plx into the EGRL... but i dont have that c6 wire either.

So where i supposed to wire my wideband..?

Thanks for help and sorry my bad english...

Oh I think I figured out...

I thought that the pin numbers (D10)were the numbers on the ECU. But that's not the same numbers who are described on the Hondata help!

Hondata: do think I could have broken something in the ECU connecting the d22 wich is the TPS ground with 3.5 volts??

Thanks, I try connecting the right wire tomorow!
