NOT able to get car to respond to changes..

Post by fasterthenU »

I have a car I am tuning,obd0-obd1 b-16 turbo, I am able to tune the car with 310cc injectors but as soon as I put anything else in 750cc, 1000cc the car does not respond to the changes, you can lean it out richen it up and nothing changes on the A/F, and no its not my wideband, I have tried 4 of them, and I have tried 3 ecu's and 4 sets of injectors..
any help would be, nice thank you..

I mention having that problem on another post, i do changes on the fuel maps, save it, upload it and datalog it again and it keeps asking for the same values.
I then downloaded the map from the ecu and confirmed it isnt saving the changes.
Its not a soldering problem as i tested changing the 2step to a different rpm and it works.

Large injectors have a lot of dead time at low rpm and low duty cycle. You may have to make changes in huge increments to actually see changes. Try a 50% change (ctrl-J).
