ECU

Post by crx4ever »

I have just swapped a b18c4 engine into my 91 crx mk2.
I want to install a p72 ecu so that the butterfly valves will also work.

The question is the following:

*I can buy a p72 ecu, but this one is normally for automatic transmission
only. Does it matter if I install this ecu, and what "problems" can i expect?

* Do i need to buy an adaptor because i believe my car is obd0?

I also have a APEXI VAFC II installed.

Thnx in advance

Automatic P72s are incomapatible with Hondata. YOu must use either a USDM or JDM manual P72. You will need an adpater harness and you will have to remove the vafc.
