to people using boost control

Post by Shmaa »

I have been using this for a while with good success, but now I am having problems.

The problem started when I upgraded to the newest version of SManager.

I have the car setup for gear based boost and I noticed it was no longer holding the low boost setting, it was using the high boost setting no matter what.

It is setup to switch between low and high with the a/c switch and it has been working that way fine for months. I have logged the acsw input and it still recognizes this fine in smanager.

What gets me is when I manually set the duty cycle to what I run for low boost it holds fine.

I would like to know if anyone else has this problem with the new SManager. I may try downgrading and see if that helps.

Well now that u mention that im also having a similar problem, not boost control related but i was datalogging the other day and did some changes to the map on the low cam, uploaded it and went datalogging again to see if it was fine and it was still asking me for more fuel, so i double checked if i had saved the changes and uploaded it again and still the same, i decided to download the map from the ecu and for some reason its not changing some of the values.
And to rule out the possibility of being my socketing going bad i uploaded my other tune again and also played with the 2step with a different rev range and it was fine, still i cant save all the changes i do to the map.

Update:

I just deleted my installation of 1-2-2 and went back to 1-1-7, and the low and high boost settings work fine.

Another thing I discovered is that once I reach 3rd gear the low boost works how it should with 1-2-2.

Ex. with 1-2-2 i get 15psi on low boost in 2nd gear, but in 3rd gear I get low boost 10psi.

Just by reverting back to 1-7-7 without changing any other settings it works PERFECT

I have a datalog of this, someone help me out here.
