Uploaded s200 bin file has a stumble around 3-4k rpm ..

Post by 92hb_hb »

Alright.. I just got my s300 installed today and uploaded my s200 bin file to Smanager.. I adjusted the injector size and selected the 1st 20 columns., then uploaded it to the ecu..

The car runs and idles, but the engine stumbles when you're around 3-4krpm and getting on the gas.. Once you pass about 4.5k rpm, the stumbling is gone and the car picks up again with power.. my s200 bin and ROM did not have this problem and it drove perfectly fine at this rpm/load point..

Is there anything that could have caused this to happen?? I looked at the fuel and ignition maps and there doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary in the tables..

Other than that, the s300 is working out fine..

are you referring to a screen shot or the actual files?

I want the skl and S3d files. There's not much to too look at with screen shots.

The problem is that you made changes to the injector size. When you upen the s200 bin file, do nothing to it, just open it and upload it without changin any parameters (especially the injector size). It should run the same as the s200 program.

okay,

so when i open my bin file, the window below pops up.. (i'm running 750 cc injectors, btw) I should just leave them at 240 cc and proceed?? in the future, for reference purposes, won't that throw off a tuner or myself when we view the saved file and it shows 240 cc injectors when we look at the fuel trim tab?

Was the bin file used tuned for larger injectors? Because it appears to have been tuned for stock injectors. If this is the case you will need to retune the car for the larger injectors.
