trouble with disabling IAC valve?

So I opened my .kal, checked the box to disable the Idle Air Control, saved the file then uploaded it to my car. I was expecting it to fix the idle problem that most people have but it didn't do anything. I still have the dipping idle and ever so random stalling. It continues to hang at 1500rpms when revving down as well. Any suggestions? What is this new option suppose to do exactly?

If you have an IAC error then you need to resolve that. The option to disable the code is only for use with ITBs.

Ok, that makes sense. I don't have an error code for the IAC, it's just a pain to clean the stupid thing all the time.
