What do you think about this feature :
The purpose is to add a feature to enable limiter if engine acceleration is above a fixed value.
This feature will be enabled above a fixed rpm (ex : 4000rpm).
A stock engine is not able to increase its rpm more than about 200rpm in 1 second with correct traction.
If this value is above, that means the front wheels are sliping.
So 2 users values are needed :
1 : activation rpm (ex : 4000 rpm)
2 : acceleration max (ex : 200 rpm / s)
possiblity to disable this by setting accelaration max to 1000 and/or activation rpm to 12500 like over features.
I think it is not a lot of coding to make this, i already tried this systeme on racing ECU, it's great.

Also AEM works like this you set the desired acceleration rate of the engine , No wheel speed sensors needed, not 100% true traction control but very simple and with a bit of tunning you should be pretty close.QUICKSILVER RACING wrote:Motec and MSD has this kind of traction control which is activated by a switch.
You set activation RPM and rise rate in terms of rpm/sec.
It is a great idea for first gear. I dunno if it's plausible.
Cracking idea
