2006 Civic Si Idle Problem

Post by CNUFijiBluSi »

Does the ECU reflash for the 2006 Civic Si allow any changes to the idle. I need to bump my idle up 100-200rpm so my HO alternator will spin fast enough to produce the correct voltage. My car idles at 750-800rpm and it doesnt put out the right voltage until 900-1000rpm. I've put smaller pulley's on there and it almost works right haha. I would like to just bump up the idle, but because of DBW, I don't think I can do this. The Honda techs at my dealership said they can't change it either. So, I figured I'd check and see if an aftermarket reflash would help or not. Thanks for any help you can off.

The reflash will not halp with this. You need to get an alternator that ouputs the correct voltage.
