The only difference is the o2 sensor, the speed sensor and some of the ECU wiring. The engine itself between 02-04 and 05-06 with exception of the cams. TPS, MAP, CKP etc etc are all the same. The transmission has the different final drive and a different speed sensor.

fine but I don't understand this
Hondata makes hardware modifications to the 2002-2004 ECU enable it to work with the different sensors and actuators found on the 2005-2006 ECU. After these modifications the ECU will not function correctly on a 2002-2004 RSX.

The modifications are for the speed sensor and the differences in wiring between the 02-04 and 05-06.

No, the ecu's are completely different...this is why to use a K-pro in an o5/06 you must use an 02-04 ecu that is modified.

I mean the K-pro use for 2002-04 and 2005-2006 still the same

It's a 2002-04 ECU with the K-board inside

but it's the same

The k-pro is the same, but the 02-04 ecu used in an 05-06 has been further modified to work.

The ECU has been modified to work with the 05 sensors and vehicle wiring. We are not going to release details of what we do - this is a trade secret.
