Best ECU for a Hondata S300

Post by 7rrivera7 »

Aside form the knock sensor circuitry on the P61, P30 and P72 that the P28 doesn't have, does it really make a difference on which ECU I should install my S300 on?

Any will do. but if your boosted and wanna use boost control then P72.

The only thins you need to look for are Knock control if you want it and vtec. Beyond that, they are pretty much all the same. The p72 has nothing to do with boost control. It is exactly the same to add boost control to any of the ecus.

Thanks for the correction. What I meant was between JDM and USDM ECUs. JDM ECUs don't have the circuitry for boost control.
