CarPC to monitor S300

Post by CB7H22 »

Has anyone installed a CarPC (with touch screen monitor) and successfully run SManager? Does anyone know if it would even work? I'm considering building and installing one, but I wanted to bounce the idea off of you people to see if you might have some feedback for me.

Thanks!

I do not see why it should not work. You could even tune the car through the car pc.

Yeah, That's what I was thinking. And I want to put GPS on it and have wireless so I can grab MP3s from my home computer while I'm in the garage... I figure there are tons of things I could do with a PC in my car, but I wasn't sure if there would be issues using the same power source for the ECU and the PC that is monitoring/tuning it.

If/when I build it, I'll post if it works or not. I just wanted to know if anyone had already done it...
