Hondata for EK9 and EK4

Post by farrelli »

Hello,
I am interested in getting a hondata ECU for my EK9 and my friend is interested in getting one for his EK4. We were looking at getting the S200 model if possible? Could you please tell me what other components are necessary to get this to work.
Also we heard from one of our local car tuning companies that you need to use the ECU from an EG (chasis) civic, is this true?

Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks, David Farrell.

To use a Hondata system, you will need to use a compatible OBD1 ecu from the list at http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html You can then use the Hondata s100, s200 or s300 depending on what options you want. I would recommend the s300.
