JUST GOT MY S300 MONTH OR SO AGO. MY TUNER SAID THAT THE DISK THAT COMES WITH THE S300 IS JUST A DUMMY DEMO DISK AND IS JUST FOR DISPLAY BASICALLY. IS THIS TRUE?

There is no demo software for the s300. The software both on the CD and on the website is fully functional. I couldn't guess why your tuner told you this.
