Post by B16T »

my question is Basicly i want my turbo to spool alittle quicker off the line right now i have it set so my activation rpm is 100less rpms from the launch Limiter rpm, If i put them the same would it bounce alot quicker, cause right now theres a delay between the bounces, or is it my stock map sensor thats giving me the short delay, hard to explain but i hope you undersatnd what im talking about

You will have to experiment with what settings work best if you are trying to use the launch control as antilag. Keep in mind that this is also very hard on the turbo.

hate to bring back a old thread but dam i read so many search results and they all ended like this, not 1 clear answer from the mods here. do the mods here even know how to explain to set up the antilag? i posted a thread asking exactly this earlier today and am waiting to find out just this. i mean telling some one to play with settings in no way explains what each setting does. what does adding fuel do or taking it way do for antilag? the same for the timing?

google is your friend, if you want to know how anti lag works look it up as there is more than one way to do it, with the hondata you basically retard the ignition so that the fuel is still burning when you open the exhaust valve hence very high egts and turbo life surfers, settings will depend on what cam timing, turbo, exhaust etc etc, hence you will have to experiment to find what suits your set up.

What works for one person may not work well for another. There is no setting that is universal. You will just have to experiment and see what works best for your engine.
