Be aware that if you incorrectly wire the MAP, even for a split second, it will be fried. Check the reading with the MAP plugged in and the engine off - it should be around 100 KPa, depending where you live. If not, check the parameters in SManager.

THe stock sensor should not still be connected. Have you tried starting the car with the stock sensor after changing the wiring?

your ecu can not process the signal from two MAP sensors at the same time. as long as the sensor was wired right, you should be fine. sending mixed signals to the ecu should not have fried it, i think.. but i've never tried. :P
so. did the car run when you hooked up the stock MAP sensor only?

I was looking at my map measurement, and i do not have the 100 kpa. I had ignition on, car not running and 0 kpa. I changed to stock map sensor, and there i had also 0. But my car runs great. What is the reason for this??

Is your pressure setting relative or absolute? 100 kPa absolute = 0 kPa relative

It makes no difference, to what i set it. I have 0 kpa in every case. I had vacuum unit and pressure unit set different, and also tried psi, bar and kpa. But when the engine?s running, i have normal tables!? I just hope, they are normal ;-). Do you have an idea? I don?t live on the Mt. Everest!!

Did you change the settings on the s 300 from your stock sensor to the 3 bar map sensor setting? And did you use the right setting? Using the wrong sensor on a stock setting would cause the car not to start!!

There are at least 3 different GM sensors. This is why we only recommend the Motec sensor.
