serious problems w/ my s300

Post by T66crx »

i got my hondata brand new and my friend solder my ecu up for it. i got a tune for it from import sports in colorado. it wont start and check engine light does not shut off. elecrical tested the ecu to make sure all they connections are good and they are all gettin signal. could it be the hondata unit itself that is messed up.

Since all Hondata systems are tested before being shipped, the probelm is most likely with the ecu socketing, a fualty ecu or wiring in the car.

Have you checked for fuel and spark? Can you upload to the ecu? Will it datalog? Can you smell burning or see smoke?

i had the same problem before. you may have at least one track on the ECU lifted. if so, you can solder wires to jump the intended connections.
