Red light on s300 and check light stays on

I have a p28 using the s300. I am not able to upload any new maps. I am able to download the calabaration from the ecu. When i download the fuel map is at 65000 and the graph is black and flat. Also if you look at the data log even though it is disabled the memory is full of recordings that have nothing on the they are zero k. this happened to me before and then it went away. Now it is staying. the ecu firmware is 1.1 and smanager 1.1.7.0..

Who socketed the ecu?

A Friend of mine in orlando. He is pretty good a it.. It was installed 5 months ago and the problem just started about a week ago.

What exactly happens when you try to upload to the ecu.

There are no firmware updates for the S300.

I suspec the socketing of the ecu first and formost as that is the cause of about 99% of all problems. YOu should check continueity of every pin to where it's traces go on teh board to make sure that there are no bad solder joints or broken/burned tracks. You can also post a closeup picture of the bottom of the ecu.

I do not want screen shots, I want to see pictures of the soldering on the bottom of the ecu.

It could very well be a soldering problem. SInce the photos are out of focus it's really hard to tell, but they do not look uniform, and they may be cold solder joints.
