HOW TO CONVERT AUTOMATIC TO MANUAL ECU

Post by masqjode »

Ok ,there we go,I have a 94 ex 4dr w/d16z6 automatic and went b16a2 swap,now I got 3 different ecu,and don't know which one to use:
a)37820-p28-a52
761-300177

b)37820-p06-a01
740-221268

c)37820-p2t-a11
1170-107658

a belongs to my d16z6 engine(sohc vtec),while b represents sohc non-vtec andc= 99 si civic b16a2 but it's a obd2b.

As long as you use the S100, s200 or s300 then you can convert the ecu to manual and tune it for the new engine.

okey spunkster it means that with the hondata s100 or s200 (I don't need to get so deep with the s300,not yet) I could use even the p06 to run my engine?

If you have a vtec engine you must use a vtec ecu.
