p72 ecu and revlimit issues

Post by Nors »

So my friend just got an s300 unit on a p72 ecu for his prelude. After adjusting the injectors to the stock size (was orginally 450) we were setting the launch control. The first time we set it we set it at 3500. Now even when we disable it it stays, even when he is just driving the rev limit becomes 3500. After changing it back and uploading it nothing changed. We can still edit other things (to check we changed the idle). Now he is throwing codes for fuel injectors and baro sensor and we don't know why. If anyone has any ideas it would be great.

so this is a s300j not an s300 and a JDM P72....both very important details.

you must disable Baro, eld, and injector error codes.

Make sure you have it set to Realime Update from the Options menu.

can i adjust that out as well? i can set a 4k launch with a 6mph shut off, but while driving i have a 4k rev limit. frusterating :(

oh, and i have all the options listed above checked so as to have them disabled.

This sounds like a tuning issue...I would recommend getting the car properly tuned on the dyno as soon as possible.

Are there any error codes.

You guys really need to follow the directions and post your calibrations and datalogs showing the problems you are askign about.
