If the K20 programmable ECU can be configured for ON/OFF Vtec, there's a good chance it could be used for a D17 application. I've asked the above question elsewhere, but I've not yet got an answer.
I am very very intersted in a ECU for my 7thgen civic ex (D17a2). Please come out with a chip for us. Is it that much different from the d16 chip? Please reconsider Hondata. Peace.

I posed this question as well on the 7thgencivic forums - the D17 and K series ECUs are similar (heck, the wiring harnesses are almost identical if you look at the pinouts). Heck, most of the sensors that Honda use are similar - and if this is a truly reprogrammable ECU than I'd venture a guess that there's a good chance for it to work...Care to chime in moderator?[/code]
