JDM Accord Euro-R, what OBD1 to use?

Post by K_ma23 »

Hi guys

I've decided to run the Hondata S300 on my 2000 JDM CL1 accord Euro-R.
I understand that I'll need to convert my OBD2b ecu to an OBD1, but I'm not sure about which OBD1 should I be using??
The factory intake mani is a single runner design( like skunk2's) for the Euro-R therefore the ECU doesnt have to have the ability to control the secondary runner operation. The rest I think should be the same as black top and JDM prelude type-S H22As.
I've had look at the ecu section on Hondata website, and looks like a P72 or P28 would work for my car, dose it mean any OBD1 p72 or p28 out of any honda manual car will work??
Sorry, the question might seem silly, but i have little knowleges about ECUs

Thanks a lot for the help

To use a Hondata system, you will need to use a compatible OBD1 ecu from the list at http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html. You can then use the Hondata s300. All those ECUs are OBD1 and are from a 92-95 vehicle.
