Anyways, i just installed the PRB Ecu with usdm kpro and the denso wideband o2 sensor wich i was told is supposed to be the same as the original rsx-s acura one (even though it does not have the honda part number, but then again, it even says denso on the honda one so im certain its the same thing. it was also bought from a big us shop stating it was for the rsx-s 03 model).
The thing is, i tried several maps and i get different results. The thing that bothers me most is the fact that it says my primary o2 sensor is not available. Wouldnt this be the same as driving without one? Also the A/F says 14,7 all the time, does this mean i might be driving lean?
When i tried a couple of the RSX-S K20A2 maps (i guess i have to use these since i now have the wideband and the PRB right?) and they all gave different results gainwise. None of them feels as responsive as my original setting with the old ecu. I feel that its slower on the acceleration and also when the vtec area is reached you hear it, but almost dont feel it if you know what i mean. After this i just went home and parked the car. Its raining like sh-t so i dont want to mess with it until tomorrow.
I had a electrician do the rewiring for me, he did it inside the ecu so i didnt have to modify the harness, so im pretty certain its done according to plan (he went over it three times).
I also tried the K20A2 Civic Type-R map just to check, and this felt more accurate but i didnt want to test it any more because of the AF and all. The AFCMD gives me value readings that change, but not the A/F.
Could you give me some tip's on what to do, how to check for problems and do you think the primary o2 could be a problem? Ill have my electrician friend check out the wiring tomorrow to be absolutly sure.
