I am going to try hondata's FTL/FTS but I would like to know what is the configuration of the required clutch switch, is it normally open? or normally closed?
I dont want to order one, because I already have a couple of switches so please dont tell me to buy the one they have listed. I just wanna know so I can install the correct one.
swicth configuration
Re: swicth configuration
The factory clutch switch is the right switch to use. I listened to a few people on this site and went out and baught a brake switch and didnt need it. So don't make the mistake I did!
yes we tried it this weekend and I love it, just need to change my driving habbits, and stop riding the clutch during the race, but it worked great, factory cruise control switch hooked to the service connector, I just dont like how it make my check engine light stayed on until I depress the clutch.

It did that because by you connecting ground to it. when the peddal is not pressed, constant ground is applied to the connector. Kind of like when you put a jumper wire in the connector.rudebwoy wrote:yes we tried it this weekend and I love it, just need to change my driving habbits, and stop riding the clutch during the race, but it worked great, factory cruise control switch hooked to the service connector, I just dont how it make my check engine light stayed on until I depress the clutch.
I know that I just hate to see my CEL, I install a switch inline with it, so I can cut it when not in use, or change to a diffent input.crucian wrote:It did that because by you connecting ground to it. when the peddal is not pressed, constant ground is applied to the connector.
