Re: DC5 QUESTIONS
I do not work at hondata.
Having said that, I will try and answer the ones that are more common knowledge with experienced k-pro folks. The ones specific to JDM vs USDM in regards to O2 sensors and such I will leave to the experts at hondata.

I suggest going to www.clubrsx.com and reading on the supercharging section. There have been a few folks with k20a JRSC installs, not to mention the k20a USDM rsx crowd is in very much the same boat as you, especially the 05+ people with itr cams. You can probably find some datalogs to practice analyzing on the clubrsx forums or here. I know I have uploaded a few datalogs of boost.

The honda ecu, and hence k-pro, use absolute pressure in the manifold for the engine load determination. A change in altitude will cause a change in MAP reading at full load and the ecu to lookup fuel and ignition values from a different location in the map. Assuming the tune is accurate in that location, the car should be fine. In the general case, the car will be fine when tuning is done correctly with a good base map.honda crazzy wrote:WILL I RECEIVE 1 OR MORE MAPS ON RETURN.DO YOU ACTUALLY HAVE THE RITE MAP FOR THIS SETUP. I do not know the answer for sure, but I know that folks on k20a.org use the k-pro to get around the speed limit on a k20a swap.MY CAR HAS A 180KPH SPEED LIMITER.CAN THE KPRO REMOVE IT.IF NOT THEN CAN I USE A HKS SPEED LIMIT DEFENCER WITH KPRO ECU.
Why would you want to run two maps? K-pro has the ability to control nitrous/water injection inputs and outputs, allowing you to globally advance or retard timing and add or remove fuel. If you really just want two fuel grade tunes, then yes, you have to run two maps and load them up manually each time you want to switch.I WOULD WANT TO RUN 2 MAPS.IS THERE ANY WAY THAT SOME SORT OF TOGGLE SWITCH CAN BE MADE TO WORK FOR THIS OR MUST I PLUG AND PLAY.
Kmanager comes with a LOT of base maps. Download kmanager from the hondata main site and explore what maps come with the software. Those are what come with the software on the cd that ship with the k-pro. There are some calibrations for itr cams and I think there is also an itr calibration somewhere -- but I have no experience with it as I have a USDM k20a2.CAN YOU INCLUDE A STANDARD MAP AS WELL, INCASE I GO STANDARD AGAIN.

Since most of your questions have been answered, i'll answer the remaining ones.
You do not need to send any keys to have the KpPro installed.
All K-Pros are sent out with a stock calibration as that is what is used for testing. Once you receive the ecu, you will need to upload a base calibration that best suits your needs and begin tuning from there.
