error uploading calibration?

Post by Frozt »

I can't get anything to upload to the ecu. I go to upload my calibration, or the standard cyber650cc calibration, it goes to upload and i hear the fuel pump engage for some reason adn then it says error uploading.

i was running 1.2.1.5 that came on the cd with my kpro.

can't get the car running because I can't get anything to upload. Anyone know what is going on? Should I hear the pump engage when it goes to uploda, that makes no sense to me.

I do not work at hondata.

You will hear the pump engage when the upload is finished. It sounds like it's finishing too soon by erroring out. The standard items should be checked for communication problems:

1) Ensure proper ground in the engine bay -- make sure you followed the instructions to relocate the ground to the engine head from the intake manifold.

2) Try a different / shielded usb cable

3) Try a different laptop.

It's very unlikely that it's the ecu unless it got damaged since a base map is uploaded when the ecu is 'k-proified' and it sounds like you cannot even upload a map at all.

thanx, the cd was corrupted. I downloaded the new version yesterday and got the car up and running. I appreciate it.
