what o2 sensor should be used with each ecu.

Hey I am a little confused on what o2 sensor i should run on my 2006 rsx type s.

A buddy of mine is selling me a ecu. Now, we are uncertain what kind of ecu it is. It was done up by hondata, made into a kpro'ed ecu.

I remember I had a problem with one ecu b4. I had a 02-04 Type s ecu, i sent it out. Ran my 05-06 o2 and the ecu wouldnt read any of my tuning. i ran the 02-04 ecu and it loaded up the tunes perfectly.

now the problem i am having is, this might be a 02-05 Civic si ecu, would i need to run a 02-05 o2 sensor, or will the 02-04 type S ecu be just fine ?

Match the o2 sensor to the ECU. Everything 02-05 uses the same o2 sensor apart from the 05-06 RSX ECU, which uses a different o2 sensor. The 05 EP3 uses the same o2 sensor as the 02-04 EP3 and RSX.
