NO option for TPS ingition retard

Post by rja357 »

I was turned and from a base map. the map does not have the option for TPS ingition retard. I am trying to fix a blubber at low rpm in each gear. I have seen the table to be able to fix my problem but i do not have the option. Help

Either you're using and old version of KManager, or you are using the Civic Si ECU. We're adding the ignition retard by gear to the next KManager release for the Civic Si / PNF ECU.

this might clarify. I have a 03 si with a K20a jdm swap. usdm civic si ECU and K-pro. The tuner used a base map. But I have, i guess, the updated base maps. The civictype r base has the TPS ignition retard in it but my tuned map does not. so being that I was tuned with an older version, how do i convert my tuned map to new version with the TPS ingnition retard scale?

1. Download the latest KManager.
2. Upload the calibration to the ECU again.
3. Profit.

you are the man. Thank you. Now the questionis that I now have this, what are the remifications of changing this. I see that most people are running -50 gears 1-4 and -100 gears 5 and 6. What exactly does this change in relation to air/fuel ratios? I have made the change and the engine doesn't hesitate anymore, but I just don't want to make too drastic of a change.

Again thanks.

No change in AF. The ECU just does not pull as much timing out upon throttle tip in.
