o2 sensor voltage & Downloading existing calibration in

Post by poo-ek »

Getting O2 sensor problem - getting a fault code P0134 i think. Should the 02 sensor be reading 12 v? on the sensor screen it voltage shows .337V (or something like that) should this figure he higher and change while downloading info from ECU?

Can anyone just download a calibration from the ECU? seen a post that says yes and one that says no?

You cannot read any sensor readings while downloadign from the ecu. The primary Oxygen sensor is current based and should read less than 1 volt. The secondary sensor is a normal oxygen sensor and reads between 0-1volt

It is not recommended to download from the ecu as the chances are much higher that the calibration will be corrupted. We will be releasing a new version of Kmanager that should make this more error free in the near future, but it is still recommended that you only upload calibrations that are from the hard drive and not read from the ecu.

Thanks for the reply

I was only trying to download the calibration as the original one did not save on the tuners laptop. So it is possible then? (for some reason there was not the ability to do so - if you click the online function the upload button was not available to be clicked?

If you do nto have a calibration loaded, then you cannot upload to the ecu.

Will the latest V1.2.1.6 lower the chances of cal corruption when downloaded from the ecu? Or is it pretty much accurate now?
