2002 CRV with K-pro

Post by gutted-dx »

I just installed K-pro and beginning to street tune, what's the best base map to start with, and the injector size in 270? Also the coolant is working on the dash, do i need to run a separate senor like with a K-swap? I'm running the primary 02 with the other turned off. I've added 10% to the whole graph on fuel and its stilling tipping the MIL for Knock. Does that sound right?

There is not a calibration designed for this. You will have to start with something close and modify it and tune it on the dyno. You must set the injectors for the size you are using. Is it reading the ECT correctly when datalogging? Knock has more to do with ignition timing than fuel.

I wasn't sure how much of a difference there was with intake vs dual cam vtec tunes. The injectors are set to the k series injector dead times, they are 310. I just got home from work and the temp gauge was working. It works in thr data logging from 2 days ago when it was plugged in. Could it be the 87 in the tank?

Try reducing the timing in the areas it is getting knock.

Will do. Dumb question but what's a "safe" amount of ignition?

It all depends on the engine, modifications, fuel and if you are getting knock.

Post the calibration you are using and a datalog showing the issue you are describing.
