Calibration HELP!

Post by Malaka »

Hello!
I have theese specs on my CTR K20A2:

Shcrick cams
Injen Cai
4-1 header
Catback
PRB K-Pro with wideband O2
Hondata IMG
Dual springs

I have road tuned the cal, but I'm running to lean when going to high cam. Why is that? What else is wrong with my calibration?

Cal and log attached below.

Add more fuel on the high cam between 6000 and 7700 rpm. You can see a dip in the fuel tables between those rpm points and the AF is around 13.6:1 The injectors are getting close to maximum (95% duty cycle). You may need to raise the fuel pressure a little.

Thank you for reply.

Finally, got it tuned a little.
The log and the cal are attached bellow (in the log there are some reach spots before in low cam before VTEC but It fixed now)

I have two question:
1 Why there is always to rich fuel in low cam and to lean fuel in high cam when switching to high cam? No matter how it's tuned.
2 My vehicle speed is stocked at 80 km/h (49 mp/h) and not responding anymore whatever speed I have. How it can be fixed? The reverse speed also not working when engine is on.

#1 - You need more tuning. Look at the ignition tables is 2d. The lines should not cross.

#2 - Remove the option to provide a constant speed signal (Parameters, Misc)

There is something odd happening where I don't see the car running is closed loop ever.

Ok. Will try to do something with ignition and will try with speed sensor. Also will make datalog with closed loop and post it here!

So, speed sensor works fine! Thanks.
Here are some datalogs in closed loop.

OK, closed loop looks ok. There is a fueling oddity at medium rpm and very light throttle (look at the short term trim). Adjust the TPS so that it reads 0% when the throttle is released - it may be the cause. Also look at the short term trim while idling at the start of the 3rd datalog - you may need to increase the idle speed a little, but it looks like you need to add quite a bit of fuel.

And what about the ignition. What if I leave the stock ignition and it won't knock, will it be fine?
