I disabled traction control, tuned it, and took it for a spin. 2nd gear felt better...it pulled and felt smooth. It bogged a little in 3rd. I read that disabling traction control by just pushing the button doesn't fully disable it, so I tried the method where you push the button off and on while doing a series of things with the brake pedal and e-brake. The dash showed that it was disabled, so I took the car for a spin. Same thing...2nd gear felt smooth, a little bog in 3rd. Definitely felt less, but it's still there.

I am attaching the calibration and two datalogs for the two pulls.

Also, when I am doing a new calibration, it gives 8 options; the 2nd option is 240 lb-ft tune and the 3rd option is CARB pending 240 lb-ft tune. I have tried both, but I was wondering if they are the same or if I am supposed to be picking one in particular.

IF you don't have a CARB FlashPro then don't use the CARB calibrations.

You can only use CARB calibrations with a CARB FlashPro.

I don't know if you saw my post, but I disabled traction control. It was better, but still bogged.
I spoke to a tuner and he suggested that the car is running too rich or too lean with the tune. He suggested taking out the PRL HVI and putting the stock airbox back in. Do you have any other suggestions? I'd like to run both the intake and the tuner if I can.

And I appreciate all of your feedback...thank you!

the prl intake flows much better than stock, i had to try each of the CAI calibrations till i found one that did not put the car in limp mode at 4000-5000 rpm, i dont remember exactly which one worked for the prl, i can pull the calibration and let you know in a day or 2.

How do you account for the CAI when doing calibrations? I go to the tab that says Mods and select "intake,' but there's nothing listed there. (Assuming you have the CARB Flashpro too).

If you are using a CARB FlashPro you will not be able to use any intakes that require special tuning as they should be designed to run properly on a stock vehicle. The CARB FlashPro cannot make changes that alter emissions.

The PRL site says that the HVI doesn't require tuning because it comes with its own MAF sensor

So I took out the PRL HVI and put the stock airbox back in. Tuned it, took it for a spin, and it's still bogging.

High volume Intake plus tune = issue
High volume intake plus tune and traction control off = issue
Stock airbox plus tune = issue, and slower
High volume intake with no tune = no issue

Not really sure where to go from here.

As this is a CARB version, you cannot alter the tuning and the parts you are using are not compatible with the CARB calibration.

The PRL HVI is CARB approved.
