Runnin Really Rich with no cels...tune erased?

Post by importmyth01 »

First off my set up:

98 B18B Turbocharged in a 95 Civic Coupe
Hondata s200 with all options
Fully tuned Knowledge Performance in Kennesaw GA

Well here what happened car ran o.k. went to Knowledge performance got it tuned and the car ran great 253hp/229tq on 10psi 12.2 on the a/f table. Wnet to the track the next day ran 12.8 @ 109, everything was awesome...the very next day i noticed my car running really really lean, diagnosed problem to be the plx wideband, got a brand new one and so I proceeded to reset the battery and minus out the CEL. I unplugged the ecu and removed the battery cable and reinstalled everything and proceeded to test drive it.

1st test drive I went out and the car felt like it hit a 4k rev limiter, so I went home set all of my limits (which were already at 7k) and went for another test drive and now the car will drive o.k. at 3/4 throttle but the moment I full throttle it the engine will choke on fuel and run in the 10s on the a/f ratio and the car will bog horribly.

I have checked all sensors and reburned another eprom for the same .bin file that was given to me by the tuner. ECU and map seems just as before the reset and the Hondata box light is solidly on. I really hate to see if i spent all this time and money if the tune is wrong or gone now?

Is the check engine light on? Are there any error codes?

I would recommend looking at datalogs and taking it to your Hondata dealer/tuner and have them look at it.
