Kpro 05 Base question

So I e-mailed hondata to verify that the 02-04 base ecu i was buying was supported for kpro and not stolen, doesn't hurt to check. This is there responce:

This is not some thing that we have really done testing with. We only have done testing with the Type S. In theory it should all work, and I know of a user that has gotten it to work, but they have complained that the speedo is reading slightly off.

Also by a little off, what are we talking abot? a 5 mph diff or just incorrect readings, Ie. lower higher random yet close speeds?
Is it worth riskign 1200$ on this, ie is it pretty sure that it will work correctly without causing me problems :( ?
Ecu info for the second Kproed ECU I will be purchasing:

5MT,AC, 2.0MTP,DOHC ECM,37820 PND A07

We have only had one user with a KPro on a base 05/06 RSX, and they report problems with the speedometer and cruise control. Our testing shows it is working ok, but we need to find a local base model for testing before we are sure everything is ok first.

I'm willing to help, mind you im across the country, anyway to do this from ottawa? I know that tapp automotive is a very respected kpro tuner. If its possible to work soemhting out I'm willing to be a test car. helliethemutt@gmail.com let me know if we can work something out.

Thanks for the offer, but we need a local vehicle (within 20 miles or so).
