“Could not upload to flashpro” error

Post by cedyc123 »

My flashpro is new this is my first time using it. There is nothing on it. I have reinstalled the software. Sometimes when I plug it in it says update firmware unplug from car. When I do that the software freezes and won’t update the firmware. If it matters any I have a MacBook with windows installed on it. I was able to instant jailbreak my ECU but it won’t upload anything to the flashpro

What version of Windows are you running? make sure you have the latest/best bootcamp drivers installed (this can be a crapshoot, it seems).

I am using a Macbook Air 2019 (final Intel-based) as my tuning computer running Windows 10 in bootcamp, and from time to time I have some issues with the wireless network adapter locking up after a sleep/wake cycle but otherwise the USB side is reliable and I've used it to flash dozens of times. When I first set this computer up, as I recall I did have a few issues getting the correct bootcamp drivers installed but I managed to get those issues sorted for the most part.
