Injectors Duty Cycle issue

Post by Abdelkelkebir »

Hello all,

I have an issue in my Tune , when i press fast sudden Wide Open Throttle my car bucks and then continues acceleration and afr is too rich, when i checked the datalog i found that the injectors open 16ms at the time of rich spike then goes back to 9ms till the end of the pull like maximum 12ms and the issue is i changed TPS, Map sensor and same issue happens, Specially if i am at TPS 0% to 25% if i press from 26% it won't cause the issue of the buck or rich 9 afr, even if it was so fast, also between gears same issue happens of course..

the thing i have noticed also i want to add as a NOTE : When i was cruising if i press TPS 1% duty cycle is 1% if i pressed 5% duty cyle gets to 5% and like it is linked to it and takes the same Value exactly till 23% and after that its back to normal, i changed the tps/map sensor and same issue happens.

My Setup: D15B7 Mini Me with Injectors 240cc High Impedance 12v and all wiring's are very good and grounds are good i even used 2 extra ground wires to the distributor and one from the negative terminal to the chassis.

Any ideas what could be the issue?

Have you entered the correct dead times for the injectors you are using?

Has it been properly tuned on the dyno?

Yes its stock high impedance 240cc injectors..

while we are tuning, injectors open more than usual like 16ms instead of 11ms as a spike and then goes back to normal..

Post the calibration used as well as a datalog showing the issue.
