What do i need to do to get boost by gear on the fn2 or boost control in general?

There is no way to use boost control on your ECU as it says in the calibration window under boost control.

What would happen if i use a usdm ecu from the 8 gen?

We do not recommend or support swapping ECUS from different regions.
