What is going on with FLASHPRO?

Post by PR8urvtec »

What is going on with flashpro? Recently I've have nothing but problems with this engine management and it's pretty messed up you all are still selling this product and don't offer any help what so ever

I can't even tune my car properly bc there are issues with open loop and closed loop. This is the second time this is happening and but now it's trimming 10% of my fuel in open loop. Can someone please look into this bc you all are still pushing this product but don't offer any solutions when there is an issue. I've sent feedback through the software and also practically begged for help from you all and nothing.

Iibhave to keep my car in open loop now bc the closed loop function does not work at all. Now in open loop It's PULLING 10% OF MY FUEL. Was working fine for a week and then I make a revision and upload the same tune and now my car is running lean as hell pulling 10% of my fuel when I have the primary 02 sensor OFF. Seriously what is going on with this software? I've had all kinds of issues updating to the latest software where it has errors and crashes. I had this issue before when it was pulling 3% of my fuel and now it's pulling 10% and you guys tell me to send you feedback through the software and then I never hear back. I can't use my car anymore bc of this software and it's pretty annoying considering the effort needed to gret everything setup.

Please explain to me why it's timing the fuel in open loop primary o2 sensor off? This has literally been the most frustrating car to tune I've ever had to deal with and it's all software grimlins. I'm sorry I'm coming off rude but when you all out a product out and decide the customer isn't important enough to help it's pretty frustrating. I've multiple tuners look at it and my car is operating fine. It's 100% on your end. Am I supposed to now tune my car on a false 10% pull of my fuel? This is ridiculous. Over $1000 in getting this to work and then money to try and find what's wrong and no support at all. I've made another post that I have been updating for years on this very issue and you guys don't bother looking into it. Might be time to get rid of all of the products and move to a company that actually wants to back their product. Driving around at 16:1 a/f is not ideal. I've attached a photo so you can see the primary sensor is off and datalog is still pulling 10% fuel from start up. I wish I would have brought my car to your Hondata day in New Orleans so you can see how crap this car runs on your product. See if you guys can figure it out in person.

When I get home I can do that. Flashpro has been very frustrating to use on my car and I'm not sure what the deal is. I have another thread that shows that closed loop isn't working at all and I have to be in open loop. First I started to grt a - 3% Strim with both o2 sensors off and now I'm getting a - 10% Strim which caused me to go lean in boost. I had to retune my whole fule map bc of this. I've posted my calibration in the other thread with where I've been trying to figure out why the primary is acting like a narrowband sensor. The last thing you suggested was to report feedback from flash manager and I did that and haven't heard back from anyone. I just need my car to work as it's supposed to bc this has been years of trying to figure this out and nobody seems to know what's going on. Can we really use the auto ecu or doest it need to be a manual ecu for everything to work correctly? It would be amazing if you all could post a wiring schematic to build a dual harness for those of us who want to use kpro bc flashpro is not working out. Even n/a I had issues with stock primary o2 not matching mynplx wideband. I'm constantly having to mess with the part throttle fuel tables bc it always seem to change and I see these weird trims happening in open loop. Is there some fort of background logic the ecu is looking at that is causing this? My other thread has my calibration and logs in it. But I will send them again. Please look at them instead of dissappearing after I post what is requested. That is frustrating.

I have two threads going on and I will try to keep them separated b/c there are two problems going on.

Spunkster my man. What is going on with this. Drove my car home and the - 10% Strim is gone and my fuel map is screwed again. I don't even understand how this is happening. I just finished tuning it and now it's messed up again. The most frustrating piece of engine management I've ever dealt with in 20nyears of messing with Hondas. The software also crashes and has tons of trouble updating when a new version gets released. I don't know what else to do but step away from Hondata products bc this cost to much time and money to have this kind of issues. There has to be something to make this work. See the attached pictures to show the weird mysterious -10% Strim is gone and you can see my fuel tables are phat. Can't use closed loop and fuel won't even be consistent. I'm pulling my hair out at this point.

I've attached my calibration and 2 datalogs. One when I was driving to a location and the -10% Strim was active and then the second where the Strim was at 0 like it should be but can see that my fuel table is rich all over again.

i can confirm this , i tuned a boosted edm cl9 recently with usdm ecu , and when the primary o2 failed , i disabled it and after that i had a -10% trim constant , i just added 10% in all the fuel maps , and when we replaced the o2 and enabled closed loop , i just removed the 10% , it didnt bther me that much but just to confirm IT IS hapening.
