k24a2 swapped 8th gen

Post by Leopardzo »

Hello everyone this is my first post. I have a 2006 civic si which cracked in the block so i decided to swap it with a k24a2 out of a 2007 tsx. I swapped over all the accessories and oil pan but left the stock oil pump and the vtc gears and stuff, just bone stock k24. Its in the car and running, but i know i should tune it before beating on it or driving it hard. I would love some guidance to where i can learn how to tune it for the k24 engine it has now or someone willing to help me out. I have hondata flashpro now but havent plugged it in yet. I have read online you cant upload the tsx tune on it so thats why im here. Thanks

I am hoping to get an answer to this as well. I was thinking about trying to copy everything from the TSX base map and puting into a new calibration for the 8th gen civic. I Hope someone can give us an answer soon

This will need to be tuned on the dyno to get the AF and timing correct and measure the power to dial it in correctly.
