Ok, i got it working again by unplugging the battery and waiting a few before plugging back in, but why did that happen? My flashpro manager said my ecu was in safemode.
Re: Having issues uploading tune
If it was in recovery mode, just uploading a new calibration should get it out of recovery mode.

Re: Having issues uploading tune
I’m having the same problem. Uploaded a tune and car wouldn’t start. Said push ignition twice to power down. Flashpro manager shows a ❌ for the ecu when everything is plugged in. I also heard to unplug the battery and wait a minute and try again but it didn’t work. Later I heard that this can in fact brick the ecu. So whatever, please, someone, anyone, take my money and give me an ecu unlocked to my flashpro with the Hondata fuel system and 1530 injectors and the race maf AND NO REV HANG. Oh if you only knew the nightmare this has been. The only thing I did right was the actual install. I’ve done the intake, inlet, intercooler, charge pipes, down pipe, front pipe, exhaust, fuel injectors, and fuel pump myself and everything worked for 50,000 miles. But when it comes to clicking with a mouse I’m helpless as a baby. Someone please tell me what to do now.

Re: Having issues uploading tune
And this is only the latest in this saga of a debacle. I installed the fuel system and tried tuning but it would only start and die. Tried to get it on a dolly to tow it 100 miles to the only person in the fricking state who could use Hondata. Ripped the lip and bumper off. $3600. Hired a tow truck. $1400. Towed it to Richtuned and he easily put a basemap on it and it ran perfectly. 40$ I did the install perfectly but had no way of knowing. Well then I decided that since my install worked and the basemap worked, that if I followed the instructions I could put a hondata basemap on it that got rid of rev hang and add full/part throttle shift. It was driving me nuts. Well then I just bricked my whole car. So there’s 600 for the ecu and I’ll have to send everything to Hondata to be unlocked to my flashpro because I can’t drive without a tune because I’m not going back to stock and I have the race maf and hpfp and injectors. So that’s on top of the 800 for the flashpro and 3000 for the fuel system 🙄 10k and a broken car and “due to the COVID 19 pandemic (six ((6)) years ago” Hondata can’t be bothered while my baby lies dead. Maybe they do have customer service? I wouldn’t know. Maybe it’s easy and I can’t figure it out but I feel completely on my own. I need to liaison with Hondata and find out how to send my stuff in

5000 bucks worth of fxxkups it’s cost me so far, only due to complete lack of customer support. There was never a problem I just had to unplug everything and try again but of course no one told me that. 10000 dollars in and I feel completely abandoned. If I need a new ecu, and a new flashpro and a new jailbreak, sure another 2000$ why not? I’ll have it overnighted and this time tomorrow I’ll be driving. Sorry kids you’re on your own for college. If only there was someone who worked at Hondata that could answer customer questions 🤷♂️ this is way too precarious a deal for average people to be abandoned. I’m sorry I ever messed with it. It’s great when it works though. What am I gonna do? The internet is so stupid. There is no helpful information about this. I need to talk to Hondata but it’s like they are in hiding and they don’t want to talk to me. Does anyone know what I can do? Just TAKE MY MONEY AND FIX IT!!!!! SOMEBODY TALK TO ME!!!!!!!! I’m sorry but I’m freaking out

Re: Having issues uploading tune
Hello, I’m back to help Illustrate the process of learning how to use Hondata 😂 I thought I had tried every configuration and reconfiguration of cords and on and off and was cursed with a red X for my ECU. My wife suggested that instead of moping around all day I go back outside and try it again one more time so I plugged in my laptop to the flash Pro and plugged it into the car and got the most beautiful side I’ve ever seen, a yellow triangle with an exclamation point 😂 I thought I was doomed because I had read about that before, and the process for getting your ECU out of recovery mode is quite straightforward and easy, but I thought I had a red X. You can gather the rest of the story by reading the Internet I loaded a base map from Hondata and waited for it to upload fully and when I got the prompt to start my car I did. And it worked! I got a little bit crunchy there for a second but I didn’t want to offend Honda because I knew it was my own stupid fault and how could I expect someone to be available on a Sunday but luckily we got it figured out and if you ever have this problem, you’re probably gonna see this post if you Google it and you’ll know what to do. Unplug every cord from every port, then plug it back in again, then hit your ignition two times now that red X for ECU will become a lovely yellow triangle. 😂 I don’t know if I remembered to have the ignition on run when I looked at my computer and saw the red X anyways the moral of the story is it’s probably not as bad as you think and part of the reason maybe Honda doesn’t answer the phones all the time is because most of the time it’s stupid stuff like this that you can figure out if you try hard enough even though I didn’t think I was smart enough to try hard enough
